Nagayu CO2 Skin Therapy Treatment

Nagayu Skin Therapy Treatment can show excellent results in improving the condition of dog's coats, especially those suffering from skin irritations and allergies.

By adding the treatment to a special shower head, it works directly on the dog's skin and results can typically be seen after one treatment, but like antibiotics, or other treatments, dogs with major skin issues will need follow up baths for the treatment to work.

What Is It?

A simple compressed tablet consisting of carbon dioxide, hydrogen,and bicarbonate. The treatment adds ions into the rinse following the shampoo, which has been an effective medical treatment on humans for years. This method originated in a small village named "Nagayu" located in southern Japan, where carbon dioxide naturally occurs in hot springs.

How Does It Work?

The tablet is placed in a special shower head and is immediately dissolved with fresh, running water. When the body absorbs bicarbonate ions through the skin it causes the body to synthesize and release nitric oxide into the inner lining of the blood vessel. This process increases blood circulation and oxygen absorption. When oxygen is absorbed, bicarbonate ions and carbon dioxide within the body are excreted as by-products. This process helps in the maintaining of the pH levels in the blood and skin.

Please note the recommended frequency for optimum results from the ultrasound tooth brush is weekly, although more often is fine too.

Option 1 (Pay as you go)

This option will include an initial consultation and your pet’s own initial brush head. The head will need replacing after 20 visits or sooner if it has been damaged. The initial visit will last 30 mins and follow up visits will last 20 mins. Follow up visits can be added on to grooming visits or booked for as and when you would like. Option 2 (Prepaid)

This option will include an initial consultation and your pet’s own initial brush head. The head will need replacing after 20 visits or sooner if it has been damaged. The initial visit will last 30 mins and follow up visits will last 20 mins. The prepayment is for 3 visits including the initial consultation. Thereafter, further prepaid visits can be purchased in groups of 3 without the brush head (20 min visits).
